On 30 January, World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) of COVID-19. We know that these can be stressful times for our international students, who are away from family and may be experiencing pressures of online/virtual study. Social distancing (also called physical distancing) includes ways to stop or slow the spread of infectious diseases. It means less contact between you and other people. Social distancing is important because COVID-19 is most likely to spread from person-to-person .

Protect yourself and others around you by knowing the facts and taking appropriate precautions. Follow advice provided by your local public health agency.
